The annual Sport Ireland Nationwide Walking Event takes place at beginning of Januaryeach year, run by the Local Sports Partnerships; in conjunction with Operation Transformation. These annual nationwide walks are a very important event in the promotion of healthy living and the pursuit of exercise.

Cavan Sports Partnership will continue to support the annual RTE Operation Transformation Nationwide walks
