Community Sports Hub - seeking Expressions of Interest
Local sports clubs and community groups can come together in partnership to create a Community sports hub. The aim of a hub is to develop a range of sport and physical activity locally and increase the number of people of all ages participating.
Funding
Funding investment by Sport Ireland targeting disadvantaged areas through Dormant Accounts is estimated at a maximum of €50,000 per successful application with additional funding also available to the Local Sports Partnership to support the co-ordination of the project.
Expression of interest (EOI)
We require commitment from (min) three different sports/community groups to work in partnership to: Grow participation, offer a range of sporting and physical activities, create and strengthen links between community, schools, sports clubs and physical activity groups.
Local clubs/groups must agree partnership working before completing this EOI link Community Sports Hub Expression of Interest by 2pm on Wednesday 4th March.
A community sport hub meeting for interested clubs/groups will take place Thursday 12th March 7.30pm Venue TBC. Each project must be represented on the night.
