Cavan Local Sports Partnership

The first meeting of the Cavan sports forum took place on Thursday 15th May 2008 in the Cavan Crystal Hotel. Sixteen different sports were represnted on the night.
The forum nominated four sporting representatives on to the sports partnership board.

They are:
• Tony Brady (Cavan GAA)
• Ann Galligan (Athletics)
• Ben Wynne (Soccer)
• Evelyn O Reilly (Irish Water Safety)

These four people sit on the board of Cavan Sports Partnership representing all sports for all people in Cavan.

All Sporting groups are invited to attend the forum, meetings of which will be held twice per year. The forum will provide an opportunity for clubs to inform the sports partnership about sports development in their local area.
